The Supplier Portal benefits both supplier and purchaser

OWS OneConnect is a browser-based portal that can be accessed by suppliers. This supplier portal does not require the supplier to have an ERP system, even though the information is transmitted to the purchaser's ERP system.

Through the portal, the supplier can:
  • Specify how they wish to be notified of incoming orders, such as via SMS or email
  • View received orders and, if desired, download their orders in PDF or CSV format
  • Record order/delivery confirmation details

Once the supplier has entered the information into the supplier portal, an order confirmation/delivery information message is generated and sent directly back into the purchaser's ERP system.

OWS OneConnect service step-by-step

Explore the six-part OneConnect service, also known as the supplier portal.

Step 1

The purchaser's ERP system generates a purchase order for the supplier.

Step 2

The order is converted by the OWS messaging server and routed to the OneConnect service.

Step 3

The supplier receives a notification about the order that has arrived in the OneConnect service.

Step 4

The supplier logs into the service and processes the order.

Step 5

The supplier confirms the order and, after dispatch, confirms the delivery.

Step 6

The OWS OneConnect service generates order and delivery confirmations, which can be directly read into the purchaser's ERP system.
